Misunderstood Moments (MM), created in 2024 and launched in 2025, shares real-life stories from the I/DD community, illustrated by youth artists, along with artworks created by artists with I/DD, through exhibitions and community events that promote understanding and inclusion.
Bridges to the Arts
Bridges to the Arts, launched in 2025, partners with professional arts training organizations to provide free, weekly, inclusive programs that bring youth and young adults of all abilities together through music, dance, visual art, and Kung Fu.
We Care, We Capture
WeCareWeCapture, launched in 2023, provides free photography services to Issaquah School District Learning Resource Center II graduates and nonprofit organizations serving the I/DD community.
Arts for Inclusion
Arts for Inclusion, created in 2026, invites Kâ12 students to share original artwork and reflections on inclusion of the I/DD community. Through exhibitions, the program raises awareness and engages young people at an important age when their understanding and perceptions of others are taking shape.
